In short: October to March, during the cool dry season, with 20 to 33 °C in the afternoon in Agra, for Rajasthan, the Taj Mahal and the beaches of the south. Ladakh is the exception: it is visited from June to September, when the roads from Manali and Srinagar are open and the monsoon soaks the plains.
