The main ski area opens at weekends from 28 November 2026 depending on snow, then daily from 5 December 2026 to 4 April 2027. Engstligenalp operates from 25 November to 2 May.
How much is a lift pass in Adelboden-Lenk?
Prices are dynamic: an adult day online costs from CHF 53 to 72 depending on the date, and 6 days from CHF 289 to 385. Child aged 6 to 15: CHF 21 to 29 a day. Free for under-6s.
Why does the lift pass price change?
Since the 2023-2024 season, Adelboden-Lenk has set a price per day, which rises as the date approaches. Buying early online is cheaper.
Are Adelboden and Lenk linked on skis?
Yes, via the Hahnenmoos pass, in the main ski area. The Betelberg, Engstligenalp, Tschentenalp and Elsigen-Metsch are separate sectors, covered by the same lift pass and reached by bus or from the village.
How do you get to Adelboden without a car?
By train to Frutigen, then 30 minutes by bus to Adelboden. From Paris, allow about 5h40 via Basel and Bern; from Zurich airport, about 2h50.
Is Adelboden suitable for children?
Yes: free for under-6s, children's drag lifts in the village, a park at Geils and Engstligenalp. On Saturdays, up to two children aged 6 to 15 ski free with an adult who buys a day pass.
