Bodrum is ancient Halicarnassus: a Knights Hospitaller castle built from the stones of the Mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders, and a Greek theatre above the bay. Around it, a peninsula of fishing villages, wooden gulets and the marina at Yalıkavak.
