Provence in 4 days
Hilltop villages in the Luberon, olive groves in the Alpilles and the smell of thyme on warm stone. Walk up through Gordes at sunrise, cross the ochre quarries of Roussillon and end the day on a terrace in Lourmarin. In July, the lavender turns the Valensole plateau purple.
