Uzès and the Pont du Gard in 4 days
Uzès is a small town of pale stone: a ducal castle still lived in by the same family, a round tower pierced with windows, and an arcaded square where the Saturday market overflows with truffles, olives and goat's cheese. Just below the town rises the spring that supplied Nîmes via the Pont du Gard, twenty minutes' drive away.
