Rhodes in 4 days
Rhodes town belongs to the Knights of St John: 4 km of walls, an intact street of inns and a Grand Master's palace rebuilt by the Italians, all UNESCO-listed. Fifty kilometres south, the acropolis of Lindos stands above a white village, and between the two lie 1930s spa buildings, pebble coves and sandy beaches.
